LEADER water application Pressure Reducing valve will maintain a
satisfactory reduced pressure under most operating conditions and it has a
wide application in process work where regulation is required.
Operation
Fluid entering the valve through the inlet, establishes an
equilibrium between the piston & the seat portion & then escapes through
the outlet. The escaped fluid at the outlet enters the piston chamber.
When the reduced pressure attains force more than the spring force, it
starts compressing the spring downward. It gives pressure reduction at the
outlet by closing the disc from the higher inlet pressure.
An adjusting screw is turned clockwise to increase and anticlockwise to
decrease the outlet pressure.
